SEASONAL SLIP RENTAL AGREEMENT
This agreement is entered into between Sebago's Crooked River Campground ("Marina") and the undersigned boat owner ("Renter") for seasonal slip rental services.
1. SLIP RENTAL
The Marina agrees to provide a boat slip for the Renter's vessel for the agreed-upon season. Slip assignments are at the sole discretion of the Marina and may be changed if necessary for operational reasons.
2. RENTAL PERIOD
The seasonal rental period typically runs from May 1st through October 15th, unless otherwise specified. Early arrival or late departure must be arranged in advance and may incur additional fees.
3. PAYMENT TERMS
• Full seasonal payment is due by April 1st
• Payment plans are available upon request
• A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve slip
• Late payments may result in loss of slip reservation
• Electric usage is included in seasonal rate
4. RENTER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain current boat registration and insurance
• Keep slip area clean and free of debris
• Properly secure boat at all times
• Report any damage to slip or marina facilities immediately
• Follow all posted marina rules and regulations
• Maintain boat in good working condition
5. MARINA RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide designated slip space
• Maintain docks and facilities in reasonable condition
• Provide electric hookup at slip
• Maintain reasonable security of marina area
6. LIABILITY AND INSURANCE
The Marina is not responsible for damage, theft, vandalism, sinking, or loss of the boat or its contents. Renter must maintain comprehensive marine insurance with minimum liability coverage of $300,000 and provide proof of insurance to Marina. Renter agrees to hold Marina harmless from any claims.
7. USE OF FACILITIES
Renter and authorized guests may use marina facilities including restrooms, pump-out station, and common areas. Facilities are for slip renters and their guests only.
8. GUESTS
Renter is responsible for the conduct of all guests. Excessive noise, unsafe operation, or violation of marina rules by guests may result in termination of this agreement.
9. BOAT SPECIFICATIONS
Boat must fit within the dimensions of the assigned slip. Any changes to boat size or type must be reported to Marina immediately. Marina reserves the right to reassign slip if boat does not fit properly.
10. TERMINATION
Marina may terminate this agreement immediately for non-payment, violation of rules, unsafe conditions, or conduct detrimental to other slip renters. Renter must remove boat within 48 hours of termination notice.
11. LIEN RIGHTS
Marina reserves the right to place a lien on the boat for unpaid slip fees and may sell the boat to satisfy the debt after proper legal notice.
12. WEATHER AND ACTS OF GOD
Marina is not responsible for damage caused by storms, high water, ice, or other acts of nature. Renter is responsible for properly securing boat and taking necessary precautions.
